( Opsie! Wrong language...)
First of all, if you didn't get the title of this post, try again listening to this:
Now, does that make any more sense to you?
Well, this is my first post here on Impugnatis, and I suppose the best way to start is introducing myself: My name is Gilvonei Wingert, aka Gígi (or G.G.) Wingert. I was born in Taquara – RS, but I’m living in Igrejinha ever since. I’m 31, and I’m an English teacher (and coordenator) at Instituto Unialcance, in Igrejinha – RS, Brazil. I’m Gemini, born on May 21st (World Day of Cachaça!) 1985, and raised in a humble and beloved family. I started teaching English as a secondary job in 2008 and today that’s what I do for living. I love music (I’m also an amateur composer and musician), games, movies, TV series, comics, order, pizza (AAAAAWWW...) and God, not necessarily in this order...
I also love to use parenthesis and reticences when expressing with words. (See...?)
Today I’m married to a beautiful Italian-blood blonde named Cristina (who many others think it is me... XP), and we are expecting our first child, Benjamin. He’ll probably have been born when you read this. And that’s a little part of my personal story...
Nice to meet you! ;-)
Still... “WHAT THE F@$@%#¨&*! YOU’RE DOING HERE??!?”, you might ask...
That’s another story.
By the end of 2012, I joined Alvanista (if you don’t know it, it’s worth a chance). After some time exploring that network, I found a guy named Victor Lemes, and I started following him (or he started following me... I’m not sure anymore). Anyhow, one day I was playing Borderlands 2 (if you don’t know any of those games, you MUST play them) and he got online to help me on a mission. We chatted for a while, and traded some itens. After that, I never could manage to play along with him again, but we had established a bond
(hooooow cuuuute). Time has passed and, one day, Victor made
a post on Alvanista requesting some people who would like to contribute by
bringing new contente to this website. After applying, here I am! What a honor, isn't it...?
This is a new stage for Impugnatis, and we are very excited about it. I intend to write about games (opinions, retro reviews, and ohter stuff), (game) music, movies, TV shows and many other interests, like English grammar. All in English, off course! ;P
Oh! Before leaving (It is time already...), I have to say: Victor Lemes is the SUPREME MOTHERF*NG MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE.
God bless you.
